Leveling kit/tire size

I've got a 72 k10 long bed. I'm not really looking to lift it as much as I want to level. Can anyone tell me what the largest tire size is that I can run factory? I'm thinking I can lift it just an inch or so, level it out and run 33"s on it. Any ideas or recommendations?

On my old K10 I ran 33-12.5-15's on 8 inch truck rally's. No lift of any kind. Sorry I don't have any pictures, that was years back.

Which end needs lifted to make it level?

33s won't be a problem, just watch your backspacing. Wheels that stick out too far not only look a bit goofy (to some of us; ymmv) but they can also cause tires to contact fenders.

The back end is a little lower but I don't think it's more than inch. I'm gonna replace all the shocks but I dont think the leaf springs need to be replaced. Not right off anyway.

From the factory the 4x4's were about an inch lower in the rear. You could use a lift block or possibly get your rear springs arched for more height.

Go to Offroad design and get some zero rates for the rear, they are about an inch. Plus you can center the wheels a bit if need be.
