Need photo of correctly painted 72 grille
I thought google would show me, but typing in 72 c10 grille gives everything but what I needed.
I wanted to paint my outer grill with the black, like I believe 72 had? Is just just around he headlights or also a small part top and bottom that connects the headlights? Right now my grille is completely bare and I'm 99% sure that wasn't correct for a 72. If someone has a photo of a correct 72, I would be grateful

Slightly bug beaten, but original.

Re: Need photo of correctly painted 72 grille
Now that the OP is satisfied and if he doesn't mind... can I piggy back the thread and ask someone to post a pic of a 70 Chevy grill correctly painted with the "Chevrolet" on the center bar. I'm restoring a grille as well and i can't find many head on pics. And yes I am putting a 70 grille on my 71. I think the 70 is a better looking grille

Re: Need photo of correctly painted 72 grille
I certainly don't mind. The more original photos, the better. Little things like this make a big difference. As an example, I continue to see "correct" 67 Chevelle Super Sport grilles that aren't correct, but owners insist they are. Actually only a very small percentage I see are correct

Backing up to the OP, is the original black around the headlights flat black or semi gloss?
