Long time lurker, first time thread maker.

I just finished Hot Rod Power Tour with it and clocked in 1500 trouble free miles! Now I need to rack up some posts so I can sell some parts, so here is my intro:

In January I decided I would finally buy a c10 now that I live in CA and they are quite plentiful (coming from NY rust). After searching for a few months and looking at a lot of junk, I finally found exactly what I wanted this 1969 c10- All original (arrow straight) body, paint, moldings and interior. It is a factory big block truck and the previous owner claims has been punched out to a 468ci with a cam, it also has a TH400 and built 12 bolt Eaton posi with Yukon axles (for sale).

Mechanically it was in decent shape but the front tires rubbed the control arms and were nearly blown out, all of the suspension was shot and had a few quirks.

Over the last month I overhauled the suspension adding 2.5 drop spindles with 4" drop springs, 7" drop in the rear with shock relocation, new shorter shocks all around, 5 lug disc, new u joints and center support bearing, aluminum rad with electric pusher fan on a manual switch (for back up), custom Magnaflow headers and exhaust, American Racing VF 504 smoothies in 17x8 17x9 and I will be installing a Currie Fab-9 rear with 3.50 gears, rear disc and pan hard bar in the coming month and hopefully swapping to a tko5/600 and a smaller carb or efi.

Pics in chronological order:

15x10 aeros with 275s

15x7 steelies

15x8 Rallys with 255/70 (for sale)

dropped with 5" rear springs (for sale)

17x8/9 American Racing vf 504

Thanks! Definitely need to notch the frame asap and start looking into putting a 5 speed into it!

Nice truck! I saw your truck on my instagram feed the other day advertising the new American Racing wheels (I think they're called Sombrero?). How did you get them? I can't find any online.

Thanks man! They are American Racing VF504s. They aren't out yet. I got them from American Racing to debut on Power Tour. I'm pumped with them. They are super light and have a ton of dish!
