Power disk/Drum conversion
Ok, Just performed the conversion. Truck stops , but when I smash the brakes, rears lock up and front does not dive down. Is this correct. Shouldn't nose dive. Seems like rear drums are working more than disk fronts. Used the stock proportioning valve in the kit. Should I install an adjustable proportioning valve so I can adjust the pressure?

I think the Master Cylinder is front wheels and rear wheels specific. Do you know if you have the master cylinder plumbed correctly?

I think some master cylinders use the front port for the back brakes, and the rear port for the front brakes.

^^that is correct for most disc/drum masters. What is the master from? What is the proportioning valve from? Everything bled properly?

It's a new disk brake conversion kit from ABSPOWERBRAKE in Orange CA. I followed instruction, called tech support.they recommend adjustable prop valve. I will double check everything 1st.

May have found the problem, so the combo valve states to plumb to front master cylinder port. Does that mean it goes to "front port" or front brake port? isn't the front brake port on master cylinder the chamber nearest the fire wall? if so, shouldn't the lines coming out of the mater cylinder cross in order to be correct. I dropped the lines straight down from master cylinder to combo valve.
