Frame swap, again
I have a -62 Panel and can buy a -65 chassie without body and I have checked blueprints of both chassies and they look very similar to me to do a "simpel" swap or do I have to look over some parts thats make it harder than I think.

Re: Frame swap, again
Is the '65 chassis a Panel or Suburban chassis? The panels and Suburbans have a 115" wheelbase just as a short wheelbase pickup. However the Panels and Suburbans have extra body mounts and the rear of the frame is a little different.
Does Sweden have laws regarding body's and frames with non matching VIN's?

Re: Frame swap, again
Hi, I apologise that I forgott to answer your Q, in Sweden we have a inspection on cars newer than 30year once a year, car thats are 30 year and older will be inspected every second year, but cars made before 1950 donīt need inspection. If I change chassie on a car I have to do an special inspection so the change will be recorded for our type of register/pink slip.

Re: Frame swap, again
62 panel frame mounts are wider, and different, rear frame is wider also.
