Re: 2-3 " drop spindles ???
keep in mind if you have stock rallys they will rub on the control arms this is why I had bought the western chassis 2.5" spindles when I was static dropped but I sold all my parts an I got some belltech 3" spindles since I have mmw control arms

Besides, I always trim the balljoint area on all my dropped C10's so any wheel will work. 2.5" or 3" drop spindles. All get the "a-arm trim".

Re: 2-3 " drop spindles ???
It's definitely a factor depending on wheels like Keith mentioned. I usually trim the lower arms when I do one. My latest pile I'm running the 3" spindles from DJM and haven't trimmed anything though with both the stock skinny wheels and the current 7" front wheels. It all depends on the backspace. If I ever put wider wheels on it I'll just trim the arms while I have the front wheels off.

Re: 2-3 " drop spindles ???
Summit Racing. Order now, you'll have them Tuesday. Lately the price has been getting pretty high though. You got to want Cragars pretty bad since most 20" wheels cost the same money. These were like 160 per wheel. Last set I ordered years back was 110 per wheel. I figure pimpin ain't easy though.

Re: 2-3 " drop spindles ???
Yes sir. I got it from the old man who bought it new. 71k original miles. Original paint. I rebuilt the suspension, beat it with the lowering stick and put the wheels on it. Everything else is untouched.
It's got the patina on the passenger side worse than the driver side since it spent 40 years parking under the same carport spot. Now it sits in my shop when I'm not driving it so it fortunately doesn't deteriorate any further. It's actually never been wet since I've owned it. Never will either. |
