'59 Fleet 235 carb ?
Hey Guys-
I have a '59 short fleet with an original 235ci engine and original carburetor. 2 Questions: #1. Is the original carburetor a 1 barrel or 2 barrel? #2. Where can I order a rebuild kit for the carburetor? I've replaced the fuel filter. The tank is fairly new and clean. I installed a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires. When cold, the truck fires right up, after driving it around the block and shutting it off, it just cranks and cranks and is super hard to start unless I squirt starting fluid in her. Also, if I don't leave the choke on a little bit when she is running (driving down the road even when very warm), it wants to stall out. Thanks, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Pictures are also great as I don't know my way around this type of carburetor. Tod |

Re: '59 Fleet 235 carb ?
I agree it will be a roch. B. They are easy to o-haul. The kits are available any parts store but one from a specialty co. like DW showed will probably be better. Make sure the power piston goes in the hole & knocks the ball off the seat.
