OEM Steel Fan Blade Spacer

Wondering if there are any fan blade spacers for 19" OEM steel fan blade with mechanical clutch? Has shroud. Wanting to set blades a little more into shroud for better air draw to help with AC cooling. I have found several that appear to be for flex fans, but have not seen any for steel blades.

74 C10 350/350

TIA

I am not sure exactly which size you are looking for, but the auto parts stores have fan hardware kits which include bolts and spacers. I got mine from AutoZone when I replaced the fan clutch on my C20 454. Also, my local Ace Hardware has a selection of aluminum bushings which will probably meet your needs.

I have seen several. Most all of them specify for flex fans. Will the aluminum spacers hold up for steel fans without any issues? There is a weight difference.

Thanks.

Re: OEM Steel Fan Blade Spacer

If you are asking what style spacers Chevy used see the picture.

My 75 C10 came with a 350 two barrel carb and no AC. The truck came with a fixed fan and a 2-inch long aluminum spacer and sounded like an airplane going down the road.

What size spacers are you looking for? The ones I got from AZ were about 1/2" long, as I recall. But Ace Hardware has many different lengths. I would try Ebay or Amazon if you have a particular spacer in mind.

Re: OEM Steel Fan Blade Spacer

Hello. Can you post a pic or two from the side showing your fan and clutch fan and far it's from the shroud.
Is that your factory fan clutch it was set up with?
How many blades does your fan have?
