Yep, did it again... Another roadtrip! When will it end?

Wife and I flew into seattle and got to hang out with mark (livrat) for a few days. Mark was nice enough to find us a 95 Tahoe and do a bunch of work on it to ensure the 26 hour journey home. Did a lot of sight seeing and a day of junkyarding. Had a great time and found some goodies to boot! Without too much detail, here are a few pics. Enjoy.

Also got an emblem for the collection I didn't know existed. Thanks mark!

Mark, did you get the aluminum van body yet???

Re: Yep, did it again... Another roadtrip! When will it end?

God I'm jealous, there is a k20 and a blazer. I don't care what shape it is in I just want to see a real 67-72 k truck. As many as I have seen, I've only seen a 69k15 on put in bay island. Never any other 4wd trucks.

Eric, you did good and thanks for sharing pics! That ochre K20 looks like the one Pete posted pics of a year or two ago with the green interior. I love the 67 GMC, would really like to have one in that color old faded paint with minimal rust.

I just talked to Mark the other day and he said you guys swung through Whidbey Island. I live on the north end of the Island... if you're ever out this way again, give me a holler!

The blue k-20 was a mutt I believe, but didn't look real close.

Mark said you lived there. Just wasn't enough hours in the days to do all we wanted. Enjoyed deception pass and fort casey.

Couple more fun pics...

That's a heavenly trip. I remember Pete posting that ochre K/20. There's a lot of gold mines up there for sure.

I am glad the trip home went without any issues!!
I totally put that aluminum 67 P20 out of my minds addiction section, I still don't know what to do with the aluminum "Barth" P30 motorhome.

Yeah, it just didn't work out. Not enough hours in a day. Who knows, maybe I will be back for a motorhome or a square LP truck...

It was alongside the road for sale. Couldn't hardly read the writing on the glass anymore.

You could park it next to your new gmc, one ton, propane big block square body. Not that I am still thinking about it.

I was watching for something in that vintage, but after driving that distance, it would have been a long ride getting 2 vehicles home.

It was, even for the short time I was there.

Re: Yep, did it again... Another roadtrip! When will it end?

That's a visit I've wished I could make for 10 or more years. Great scores, and I always liked the 2dr Blazer/Tahoe/Jimmy/Yukons. Now would someone help me get the idea of a Foretravel Grand Villa???

I've never seen any fender badge with integral engine designate. Very cool
