Re assembling

Okay, I am starting to put everything back together. Man, its been a long time; now I've got to remember where everything is, and everything goes. I didn't do a good enough job of marking and bagging parts as I wanted to do.

My first problem is that I put Hooker Competition headers on, and the AC compressor bracket that bolted to the exhaust manifold no longer fits. Does anyone have a solution, i.e made a bracket, or know of a bracket that will fit?

Anything else that you can think of that may cause delays?

Don't know if it will be of help to you, but I put Vintage Air in my truck and it came with Alan Grove Brackets for the compressor. I'll bet you could call them and they would have what you need. You can reach them at www.alangrovecomponents.com. They are in KS.

What do you need AC in Sierra Vista for anyway? LOL

It is still in the low to mid 90's. It's not Phx or Tucson, but would be nice to have all set up for next year. I am not going to let the bracket keep me from trying to get this thing back together. I will put it back together without the compressor and work on that later.

This is what I used on my truck. I found them on Summit's site under Hooker headers. I used P/N 10925HKR in the lower pic. http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...A/MtBrckt.html
