Sealant on cylinder head bolts??
I have a 2002 S10 , 2.2vin 4.
I'm installing a new head, and the Haynes manual says to use sealer on the head bolts I normally use Permatex Aviation sealer, when needed. I know they're TTY bolts. Is this correct,as far as using sealer ? Also , the auto parts guy said to orient the split in the locating dowels away from the waterjacket.. Never heard of this.
