Vent window installation question
Just received my new vent windows and was wondering if I install them in my bare doors (no windows/handles/locks or mechanisms), will that cause a problem when I install the other stuff? Said another way, is their preferred order of installation of all of the door parts? Thanks in advance.

Re: Vent window installation question
I usually have everthing in the door including the door glass (off the track) resting in the bottom of the door.
The completed vent window assembly I install last. Then move side window back into its track. I'm following this thread to learn if I have been doing it wrong all these years. Ha.

Re: Vent window installation question
Here are the disassembly steps, which I based on the shop manual, and which I followed. Reversing them should give you assembly steps!
Remove outside mirrors Remove driver's door panel Remove window regulators and lock hangles Remove vent windows Remove main glass from doors Remove regulators from doors Unclip 2 rods from each door latch Remove latch Remove pull knob from lock rod Remove handle rod and armature Remove door handle Remove chrome strip from inside of door Remove Custom Camper emblems from doors Remove cowl to cab seals Remove door with hinges still attached to doors Remove door strikers - count shims
