Front drum bleeders
He y'all! I have a 70' c10 that I need to bleed the front brakes on but can't get a wrench on or socket on the bleeder valve to crack it. Is there a trick or special tool to getting in there and opening it?

Same problem with my 70c10 also. I installed speed bleers to help bleed the system easier. I ended up buying a 3/8 deep socket and open end wrench, using a bench grinder I modified the tools to fit a little better. Nothing perfect.

Back before we did the 5 lug front on the kids 67 I did the same as loc doc.
I find it weird that they were made that way. Yhea there is a few of us around here.

I think it is interesting that I was having the same exact problem on the same day! 1969 CST/10 with front drum brakes. I looked all over town for some wrench that would fit in there, and I looked at a lot of tools at Northern Tool, Sears, Advance, O'Reilly, and finally found this at the last place I looked, AutoZone. I have new cylinders from O'Reilly, and they came with 10mm bleeders. AutoZone also has SAE sizes of that wrench, for those who have not been bitten by metric. They told us in elementary school in the 70's the metric system was coming to get us, and I've been laughing about that ever since. Well, today it got me. :-)
