71-72 Below Eyeline Mirrors MINT!!!!

I got these and thought they were 69-70. Come to find out thanks to the board they are 71-72.

Glass and rubber is PERFECT!!!!!! Stainless is excellent condition. No gouges or scratches. Buff them up some or use as it.

The condition is just amazing.

All hardware and GM instructions come with.

$250.00 plus shipping OBO.

I would also trade even-up for the mirrors I need in the same condition.

Thanks, Rich

69-71 are the same. The top arm bends down at the door and the lower arms are longer than these. These seem to be a GM accessory similar to the factory '72 style. The lower arms are much shorter on '72s and the factory ones have a top arm that fastens down flat onto the flat area above the body line near the window. These seem to have arms that angle back with a twist in the door end that mounts it farther back and lower.

Your mirrors pictured in the first post of this thread look like the G10/20/30 below eye line setup found on vans, here are what the 72 DG4 below eye line mirrors look like. Mel

Yup those are van mirrors in the first post. Look like they are in good condition though.

Re: 71-72 Below Eyeline Mirrors MINT!!!!

Instruction sheet appears to be square body or later (mirror head type not produced until square era). Also, the bodies pictured in the instructions appear different from each other and all post-67-72. Just an observation.

I'm a bit confused my 72 has these mirrors and the original owner claims these mirrors are original.

Re: 71-72 Below Eyeline Mirrors MINT!!!!

That's the part that confused me I know the trucks original owner used to ride around in it way back in the 70s as a teenager drinking and carousing he claims other than a paint job the trucks still like he bought it new. My option number is different than the post higher up so maybe camper mirrors are different go figure. Oh and the wheels are rally so he did change that and rear bumper he changed to chrome sport.
