Re: Brother's show today
Did they send out any advertising for this year's event? I've spent over $3,000 there in the past year and didn't get as much as a post card? Anyone else know or have I been in a hole for the past few months?

Re: Brother's show today
Lots of big wheels. Guess if you want to stand out at a show these days you need stock ride height and factory wheels, just to be "different"!
Tons of craftsmanship though no matter where you stand on the style aspect.

Re: Brother's show today
Just curious, were there a lot of stock trucks there too? Or maybe slightly lowered with a stock look? Im guessing by your pics that's not your style, and more power to you if that's what you like, I just prefer a more stock look myself. I guess I'm old school.

Re: Brother's show today
I'm sorry I am a little bias for a little bit of custom. There was a lot of heavy customs. I prefer resto custom but since you ask that come to think of it I didn't see hardly any just clean stock trucks.

Re: Brother's show today
Well...I guess the theme now is ls'd and dropped on the ground , I see a lot of nice craftsmanship just not my personal style . But that's what this hobby is all about personal expression . Nice trucks .

Re: Brother's show today
I think the photographer might have been biased toward LS'd and dropped. I saw some other trucks in the background that didn't get their own individual shot.

Re: Brother's show today
Not really into trucks that can no longer be used as trucks. I dont mind custom but prefer function over form.
I guess I finally hit full geezer mode now that I complain about shiny rims and cut frames. |

Re: Brother's show today
You can go to the Brothers truck site in a few days and pictures of every truck will be on there. https://www.brotherstrucks.com They take a picture of everyone as they drive in. There is always a lot of stock trucks there in various stages of restoration but it does seem like the low riders have taken over the hobby.

Re: Brother's show today
Was the C-10 Club there. They usually roll in with a bunch of rides and have a big party. They don't participate on this board as much as they used to. I just check their page and there are no photos from the show?

Re: Brother's show today
That's why the 67 was in parenthesis
![]() Chances are it wasn't a real 2wd either, too rare and valuable to swap noses on, but I guess people do do that...
