1973 what's it worth
Ok I am new to the square bodies. I have always messed with 67-72 but I have found a 73 custom 10 orange in color six cylinder three speed. This truck was bought new for the man I am buying from his wife has been under cover when she was not driving it . Original paint that I think will buff out to look as good as it was new. No ps or ac. Is it worth $2500 was going to pay him for it tomorrow but wanted some input on it first. I will get pictures tomorrow was afraid the man might get to thinking something if I took them while I was looking at it today.

If its a good well taken care of not rusted out beat to death truck that's probably a fair price..its all in what you think its worth..my 81 in very good condition was $3200..with documented 22000 miles on it..350 4spd w/air...belonged to a fire department stored inside all its life..I did have to paint it and fix some minor dents..to many decals and reflector tape to save the paint..

Re: 1973 what's it worth
As far as paint no paint needed no dents on outside . The inside of bed don't even have any dents by looking at it I don't even know if she haul anything in it . The paint in the bed looks as good as the outside paint. The big thing I was worried about on price was the six cylinder three speed no ac and no ps

Good luck with the purchase..if its as good a shape as you say it should be a good truck..do yourself a favor..if the hoods in good shape first thing you need to do is buy some hood stiffeners for it..as far as price goes depends on what your plans are..drive as is..engine swap..steering and brake upgrades...lowered..would be a fun project no matter what

the hood has not started breaking yet . i looked at the kit for the hood that will be the first thing bought. i plan to lower it not decided yet on how much but i want to go as low as i can without notching the rear. then buy a set of wheels and tires. going to leave the drive train in it and drive the fire out of it.
