AC Leak Test
I have a general AC question. I have a set of gauges and a RobinAir Vacuum pump. I can pull the system down to 29PSI of vacuum, but over the last 2 hours, it has lost 2psi of vacuum.
Im not sure if this is an accurate test. The gauge valves are closed, but the gauge lines are still in play. I had a leak and believe I have it fixed now, but wanted to try and test it before dumping freon in it. Is there a better way to test the system with out freon? Thanks for any advise.

Re: AC Leak Test
I'd charge it now and add 1/4 ounce of tracer dye. I dont get too worried about a 2" drop, that could be a gauge issue
