removing baby moons
What is the best way to remove baby moon hub caps without messing up the paint on the wheel. I have a set of rally wheels and I have a set of the regular round center caps on there now and it is hard enough getting those off without messing up the paint. I was thinking about getting a set of baby moons but they look like they would be even harder to remove.

Re: removing baby moons
I use a fairly wide plastic trim style pry bar on my dog dishes, never been a problem.

Re: removing baby moons
Go to Ace Hardware and get a paint gallon lid opener, the one with the loop. Should be able to hook the cap and just pull it off the wheel. Lay a towel down so the moon doesn't smack the asphalt and ding it!

Re: removing baby moons
I use a flathead screwdriver wrapped in a towel. Stick it in the crease between cap and wheel. Then hammer it.
