It's only fun if you find what you're looking for!

[QUOTE=Mparker;7653639] Would you happen to know what years will work? Will it just be 81-87?

Re: Frame horns 81-87?

starting putting myself in your shoes:

Did a Craigslist search in your area for a parts truck. MAN! stuff is expensive in your area. Nothing to note except I will love to sell my truck there!

Then did a pull-a-part search and found a truck in Lafayette LA!!
http://www.pullapart.com/inventory/search/

1982 C10. Don't know what's on it, so you will have to go and check it out.

If you've never been to a pull-a-part, bring tools, water and some walking shoes. you get to pay $2 and roam the yard and pull what you want. For the frame ends, I would suggest a cordless sawzall and a bunch of batteries. Unless you buy the whole frame. :-)

Good luck!

http://www.car-part.com

You can search every state, not just local.
The Horns are a smaller part, so if you find some, the junkyard may ship them.

Re: Frame horns 81-87?

Thanks guys! I also searched pull a part there's also one truck in the Baton Rouge yard which is about half the distance of Layfayette! Was just trying to see if any yards get more than one truck! Hate to make a 2 hour ride for nothing!

You can go to Barry's U-Pull-It in Gulfport,Mississippi.
Only about 60 miles from N.O.
It's actually about 20 miles west of Gulfport right on the north side of I-10.
Call them first to make sure they have what you want!
There's always C-10's in the yard.
Do like posted above-Bring tools,especially a battery sawzall! or,battery cut-off grinder.
