Talking 235/261 side mounts?

Hi everyone, I need to put side mounts on my 261 to replace the front mount since I am swapping the crossmember and installing a power steering pump in the spot where the horseshoe mount goes. Is there any mount that will bolt on with some modifications or should I just start from scratch? Thanks

Also found these on eBay, I could build something similar if there are no bolt on solutions

That pick looks like its off a 55-59 truck. The engine is a 235 and it will fit but the problem is the frame. 60-62 have wide frames and the 55-59 are not as wide. You might have to modify the mounts. You can order it and try it out to see if it will work.

John, I was going to make ones like that from scratch not buy them so I don't have to worry about them not fitting, just copying the design. I'm thinking that 3/16" plate will be good enough

Re: 235/261 side mounts?

235/261 Automatics used the side mounts. Maybe Ebay has some. When I put a 235 in my 63' I made a template and had a fab shop weld a plate to some 250 side mounts (We cut off the side that mated to the 250). Good Luck
