Need Help identifying air breather/valve cover breather
here's what I got... my truck came with this air cleaner(see below) not sure if its factory or not? the lid doesn't cover the air filter completely(is that correct). also what I'm looking for is the PCV/vent tube from the passenger side valve cover to the air breather. the air breather has a small 1 inch square in it where it looks like something may mount into it from the valve cover?? also there is a metal tube coming out of the passenger side valve cover. any help would be appreciated....

One of these fit in the square hole. Held in by a clip. A short length of hose connects it to the metal tube.

Could your breather set up be from a cowl induction hood from a Chevelle? To me, that's what it looks like

Looks to me like someone lost the original air cleaner top, bought an aftermarket open air cleaner and used it in the original bottom. A cowl induction would have a rubber gasket around outer rim and no snouts.

Well I'm pretty sure it's not the stock housing for a truck.If you want to sell it, I'd be happy to buy it though.

If that's an original GM dual snorkel air cleaner... it could be worth a bit of cash. Those came as a factory performance option on Camaro's and "A" body cars.
I had the factory original dual snorkel with a chrome lid off of my 1972 El Camino SS that I removed when I made a drag car out of it. Sold the car and still had some parts laying around. I put the dual snorkel on ebay for $50 bucks no reserve. Sold it for almost $500!  Gary
