My 68 C30 is finished!

I finally finished my '68 C30! I picked it up in April of 2014 and wasn't able to start its complete restoration and transformation until May of last year. As evident in the attached pics, this truck started life as a GMC and morphed into a Chevy and its current condition in just over 14 months. Needless to say, it's been worth every minute of time, every ounce of frustration and every dime that's been put into this project. I have a few more small details (bed sides, Flying A logos on the doors and some subtle pinstripes) and it'll be completely finished. I hope you'll all agree, but I think it turned out pretty damn well!
Thank all of you who contributed answers and suggestions to all of my questions. Every bit of your guidance was extremely helpful. I extend my appreciation for this forum and again, my thanks to its members.

Looks great but I'd love to see it with the GMC front end still on it.

That baby looks really clean! I like White on the '67's and '68's and the red wheels really set it off....

Re: My 68 C30 is finished!

Thank you all for your kind words of appreciation! I'm pleased to know that I'm not alone in my pleasure in how this project turned out. It's hard to tell from the photos due to the natural lighting, but the truck isn't white, in actuality it's a cream color found on 67-68 Chevy Camaros, Chevelles and Novas. It's PPG DelstarsSingle stage, GM's "Capri Cream", paint code T or also code TT.

My Alter Ego,

Looks great, love the white color.

I notice you have what looks like a rubber grommet around the upper tube coming out of your heater box. What is that?

Re: My 68 C30 is finished!

I like it , Not over done , clean ,straight, everything where it belongs and not a bunch of gaudy aftermarket baloney stuck on . Good choice on the color . Now , what's the interior look like ?

Re: My 68 C30 is finished!

If that thing was food it sure would taste good! The wheels are a great "truck detail" seldom seen yet looks go sharp. Another set of simulators or alloys would have been just another set of simulators or alloys. You have the "owner got out there and painted the wheels up sharp because he's proud" look. There weren't always bolt-on solutions to making a truck look sharp. Very Classy Cab & Chassis!
