Nice 65 C20 with Camper on CL
not mine, thought I'd share. Like this old truck a lot. If I still lived out in Ridgecrest, I'd be trying to get the price a little lower and stick it in my driveway...

I like how the trailer furnishings (sink, fridge, etc) appear to match the colour of the truck!

Now, if this were a 65 Custom Camper.... (funny how an free or almost free (I forget if there was a cost in the 65/66 models, there wasn't in 67-72s) makes such a big difference (to me) - makes no sense whatsoever, this truck is clearly capable. Although I'd be willing to bet it's over its max gvwr with humans on board...) |

Re: Nice 65 C20 with Camper on CL
Uhh.... the photographer climbed into the truck for a close up?
I have no idea. What HAS changed between the two pics? Looks the same to me. The goofy grab bars and recycled Staples paper bin are there in both... |

Re: Nice 65 C20 with Camper on CL
Appears to have been a well cared for unit. Interior of truck is super clean, just wish they would have gotten the correct factory paint formula when the decision was to repaint. Wheels appear to be modern 16" wheels with clips added them ( the only way to install correct C 20 caps on them), find that very interesting, most just add late model incorrect caps, glad he didn't go that path.

Re: Nice 65 C20 with Camper on CL
I agree - a bit too minty. I'll never be able to have a truck this color - or even close to it - anyway. My spousal unit HATES mint green. Ha. But if it were a Custom Camper, she'd have to choose: me or no mint green, cuz it'd be headed east buy now!
