Air only blows on the floor - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I havery an 87 R10 and no matter what setting its on air will only come out on the floor. I've checked the vacuum lines under the hood and they appear to be fine. Suggestions?

It could be that the cable came off or broke on the back of the heater control unit
