overview capacities suburban 1979 / fluids

good morning from germany

i have found a lot of informations about my car using your forum
but couldnt find the informations about the capacities for some fluids.

therefore I am currently looking for a sheet / an overview to get
the informations.

maybe I have missed / overlooked the informations reading the manuals
(about 1000 sites/sheets)

sry for my poor english and I hope u can held me.

to be exact: I only need the information about the brake fluid capacity
to buy the DOT 3 brake fluid - how much do I need? 1 liter? it would be ok to get the informations in gallons/barrel ...

but it is also interesting to get the information for all fluids I have to change
maintain my 79er Sub.

Thx in advance, Stephan

Re: overview capacities suburban 1979 / fluids

Are you asking because you have to get DOT 3 fluid shipped to you? I have a 1979 light duty truck service manual that I recently checked for someone else for the power steering system total capacity but it wasn't listed, at least not that I can find. I mention that because "full" for either system is a procedure and not achieved by adding x amount of ounces. If you're flushing or filling an empty system a liter should be adequate if you don't spill much during filling and bleeding.
