67-68 glove box emblems

are the oem versions steel? all the repo ones are plastic and i've never held an original...

Plastic. All dash badges are, except Cheyenne Super and Sierra Grande on the woodgrain applique

thanks good to know. the other thing i've always wondered is why the letters are not centered. drives my nuts.
