I didn't know they were reproducing long bed sides now too.

http://www.lmctruck.com/features/cbe...FY9ffgodRLEGEA I am only posting this as I have not seen anyone mention it. Not like I look/read every thread.

Yep. They lagged behind the swb sides by few months or so. There was a quick post on them when they came out. I know when they first came out, I was trying not to make too many posts about them because I was still sitting on a few original sets. In my opinion, they repro ones are driving down the value of used sets (both lwb and swb), unless the sets are in perfect condition. That might be why you don't see many posts on them. In the grand scheme of things, time is money; it would have cost more in time and money for me to mod my long bedsides. Two sets of my lwb sides paid for my whole new swb bed(except gate).

It is nice there are new ones but the bed I have for my truck is original. It will take some work to get them back. I would rather spend $1200 on A/C.

I live in New England. I've never had an issue finding rust free hoods, just about everything else.

Interesting, Maybe we need to start a North/South hood/bedside exchange program.
