Wiring harness for Blazer.
Looking at the state of my Blazer right now (ie still in bits pre painting because the last paint job is flaky as hell and is having to be all removed - see below pics) - I am thinking that I should take the opportunity to get the wiring sorted out while there is easier access to everything.
Who makes the best and most robust / simple wiring replacement harness for the K5? Any recommendations? Preferably from experience? |

Re: Wiring harness for Blazer.
Have been doing some searching online. How do I know how many circuits I will need?

Re: Wiring harness for Blazer.
Painless looks super expensive. Has anyone used the LMC universal replacement harness? also - what length battery cables are needed as I'm replacing what looks like Romex house wires that are used on the battery at present.

Re: Wiring harness for Blazer.
With Painless or American autowire the cost is more. But you are getting high quality wire with that too. They are all the same to install, and all of the instructions are generic, so I recommend not trashing your stock harness before the project is over.
As for the circuits you can look through and see what options you have, or might want vs what they list in their circuit panels. I usually just get the biggest one and use things like "power antenna" for other stuff. |
