Re: Who is Heading to Carlisle?

my brother and I will be up there Friday for the day, with our radio flyer and cooler. On the hunt for a good cab, and probably a door & a fender for starters. And keeping an eye out for anything else good, plus some LS parts.

I think we messaged back and forth a while back about the cab. Talked to my brother and we are gonna park and head right to you to check it out when gates open Friday maybe make a quick deal. Looking for a passenger side one for a 71 chevy. I need to take tally of what I have already so I don't end up with 3 of the same again...

I want to go, but driving for 5+ hours each way with 3 people in a truck with 2 seatbelts doesn't seem sensible.

Yep, nothing but long neck glass cans for me! (But, I kindly accept the aluminum flat tops when offered )

I have a lot to do yet. I'll be afternoon/evening the way it looks.

Re: Who is Heading to Carlisle?

i'm bringing my utility trailer up, where do you all think will be my best bet to park? Shoot for the road out front near the fire house and school area or park on the grounds?

Woohoo free delivery! I could have used that when I found a really decent vise in the flea market and had to walk home and get my hand cart. It isn't too unusual to see people walking down the street with arms full of great finds.

I agree "Beer Tent"!

Re: Who is Heading to Carlisle?

I'll make it a point to introduce myself while I'm walking around. So far I have Special K in B17-19 and GR8-68 in B12-13. I have some spare body parts at my shop so maybe it might be something that someone is looking for, maybe I can help out a fellow truck nut.

Re: Who is Heading to Carlisle?

I'll be up on Saturday, Hopefully, if all works out right for me. my truck is down at the moment so I'm stuck riding shotgun. If anyone needs a small utility trailer to get a bunch of parts home or a cab/bed something like.I have a nice Big Tex 4' X 8" for sale about 45 mins. south of there

Your sky looks much better than ours an hour away.
Very foggy over this way.
You guys behave up there.
Hope the weather holds out for you all.
