Finished up the Herculiner in the bed and floorboards of our blazer today! 79.99 and a $20.00 rebate to boot! Stinky, but easy!

Close-up. Nice rubbery type feel...I think it will hold up good. We are putting sound deadner pad and carpet over it. Nice and quiet I hope!

It looks good, just one question, Why didn't you get the inside of the bedsides? if you're putting sound deadener and carpet over it, it wouldn't be seen anyways, it might help prevent rust in the inside.
Good job! |

Hee! Hee! That "hootus" thread is hilarious! To tell you guys the truth I started posting as 1970blazin (with my hubby) thinking that no one would take me serious unless they thought it was a guy posting, but I quickly realized that was NOT the case here! My hubby isn't a real computer guy, but he likes to sit with me here and help me answer some of the welding questions and stuff. Anyways I love being a part of this board....it makes the restoration on this blazer that much more fun for me! Thanks guys!! So from now on just assume 1970blazin is a "hootus free" WOMAN that LOVES her blazer!!
P.S. My hubby didn't get herculiner on his hootus, but....that might be fun now that I think of it! |

Oh Chevy_fatman, Didn't do the bedsides cause they are TOTALLY rustfree after years of wetness in this blazer. I figure since we aren't going to let this blazer get wet again they will do great as is. We will be putting in bedside cargo panels, and sound deadner foam or something similar.

I feel better now...i hoped i didn't offend you too bad
I have been thinking about getting some Herculiner (my bed is currently "coated" in primer grey spray paint), but i'm afraid that i might want to take it off some day. It does look good though!
