Fuel filler neck
I am new to this site --- I have 48 chevy panel truck, Have built custom fuel tank and relocated to rear behind axle, tank is in area that oringinally held spare tire I am hoping that someone can give me an idea about locating and building a filler neck, on drivers side. Thanks for any advice

This is what I did using a hinge I got off some car at the wrecking yard (don't remember what kind of car.)
It's sitting in my back yard, one day I'll get back to it. Brian

Someone on here had a nice setup in the side of their bed behind the rear fender..I think they used a door from some small ford van that had a cable release on it run to the cab..its a slick setup and I wish I could remember who it was..

Billy..click on the blue writing in his post that says (lil erv the 50-3600.).I think his gas filler install starts on page 4..

Pics are not the best but,
Pic 1 This is a Hagan door installed in the drivers rear fender. Pic 2 The back side showing the short elbow installed on the Hagan fitting Pic 3 My tank showing outlet from tank. I used regular gasoline hose to connect the two. Hope this helps...Jim
