That's the third 557 trick I've seen on here in the last week or so. That's a real nice one!

Re: Anyone see this beauty?

Oh my my. No, I had not seen that wonderful piece of K2500 fineness. That is one fine real deal has it all example well worth asking price. What a SPIDful! Makes me hurt not being in the game anymore. Still have hope for better days. I just hope I can find one like this if it happens. I've considered Dark Olive Poly, for those who use color names, for my '72 with saddle interior when it gets painted.

I can think of 13,500 reasons to talk you out of it, but I also know what it feels like to want a nice truck.

Re: Anyone see this beauty?

I'm just a sucker for that GMC grill. If it were a chevy I could probably forget about it in a few days but that is almost exactly the truck I was looking for when I bought mine. You guys are probably right though......snif snif

Oh man, what a great platform for a 2wd frame swap, shortbed and LS conversion!

I kid, I kid... what a great truck for the price! Even has working A/C!

LOL....

I wish someone would say that the price is way to high lol. Now I got the wife saying she likes it........Grrrrrrr. If my other truck only knew I was considering something new, she would be so upset.

Re: Anyone see this beauty?

If it does in fact look as good in person as it does in the pics, with everything working and A/C... yeah, his 13.5K price is very fair.

If that was a factory shortbed it would probably fetch 20K+.

Re: Anyone see this beauty?

Thanks, but the deal ain't done yet....lol

Some more info:

2nd owner truck
Dealer installed cruise
Has original wheels and hubcaps that come with it
Bed off paint and body job done 8 years ago

Still need to find out a few other things.

Does the aux tank function?
Does it have the 2nd battery and tray?
Is the bed in good shape?

What else about the truck/deal should I ask him when he calls me back?

Re: Anyone see this beauty?

A bit more info.

-Aux tank and switch are functional but the indicator plate for the switch is missing.
-Aux battery tray is there and in good shape but battery is not there
-Am/Fm radio works

Lastly, not sure how I missed this on the SPID but it has a wood bed. Im not a huge fan of wood beds but its not a deal breaker for me. I am still working with him on a few things so if I anyone has any suggestions about what else to ask him, let me know.
