Looking for a DS, and rearend

Allright guys, I am looking to buy 68_c10_on_20's truck, but I have a brand new race built TH350 with a short shaft that I will need to use, and the one his DS is for is a long shaft. Does anyone have a DS for a SWB that ran a short tail TH350 for sale? All my stuff is from a LWB so I'm new to the SWB stuff. I am also looking for a coil rear with 3.73 gears, thanks.

I been trying to hook up with 68 C 10 on 20s for awhile now. He has that 3.08 rear which I want, and I have a great 3.73 which I do not want. We could never hook up though.

Really TX, well then you may have solved that problem for me. We'll definately hook up and swap em out if I get it. If I get his truck, it will be in the next week, and we can meet up some time in the next few. I'll let you know.

I have a 2 piece DS from a 69 that had a 350 short tail in it. I am going to a 1 piece. I'll sell it for $10 plus the cost of shipping. I will break it down so it fits in a smaller box. It needs new U-joints and a yoke. But other than that it's in good shape. I ran it for 5+ years until I took my truck apart for it's resto.

I'm just glad someone could use it. I've almost junked it twice cuz I keep tripping over it in the garage. When it warms up later this week I'll see about getting it apart.

I got it apart, here is the pics of what I am sending you. I put marks on the two halfs so you would get them in the correct alignment when you put in new U-joints.

about the carrier bearing, I wouldn't really trust it if I was you. It's a good one, and was working when I took it out, but has sat for a while and is looking a little dry-rotted.
