Hesitation in gear

Here I am again. Issue I am having now is when I lightly push down on the accelerator in gear (any gear) she will hesitate and sound like a lawn mower. If I stomp on the gas she takes off like a rocket with no hesitation. Idles great, starts great. I replaced the fuel filter, cleaned carbarator, checked timing, checked fluids, kicked bumper, no joy. I have an original 350 with original transmission with only the points replaced with electronic ignition and that was about a year ago. She did sit for about 3 weeks while I was out of town ran great prior. Help....
