welder help

I have a craftsman gas mig welder that I recently ordered a new handle assembly for and now I'm having trouble hooking the gas line back up. I've called the company that I ordered the new handle assembly from and they didn't know what I was talking about.

It's basically a barb on one end for a half inch hose, threads for it to mount to the case of the welder, and a push fitting for the 1/8 inch gas line. I found the part number but it's no longer available. It's WE20569-22910070. Any help on this or an alternate part would be great. Thanks

Re: welder help

What kind of trouble are you having? The gas line goes from your regulator to the barbed fitting on the back of the welder.

Re: welder help

The old 1/8 inch gas line is broken off inside the adapter, so I can't hook up the new line. I was trying to find a new adapter.

Re: welder help

Do you have an easy-out? I'm guessing your adapter is just a brass barb with NPT threads on it. You should be able to find it at a hardware store.
