Anyone put buddy buckets as a rear seat?

Like the title says, has anybody mounted a set of buddy buckets in the rear position for a blazer or second row suburban? Just curious as to fitment. Matt in Reno

Re: Anyone put buddy buckets as a rear seat?

If you just take the seats without the middle seat and fab up your mounts, it could work. But the whole three pieces I just don't see it fitting. If you do decide to fab, I would go with a newer seat with reclining to be more comfortable. I made my own seats for my Burb using the frame from the middle seat and fabbing up the front frame. It works.

If you go through the trouble to remove the center console/seat, you might as well just install a stock bench seat.

Stock bench seat will not fit in that location without lots of work. If you look at what the OP asked for, I was suggesting modification if he wanted buckets in the back of the blazer.

Just like I mentioned, I put my own preferred seats in my Blazer, Burb and GMC because the stock ones are not for me.....
