First Post - My 1966 C30
Hey, I have been lurking on this site since I purchased my C-30 nearly six months ago. I figure it is about time that I contribute something to this forum. This forum and its members have been very helpful, thank you. I purchased my 1966 C30, 6-Cyl, 250 from the nephew of the original owner in South Mississippi. The truck was purchased from a local dealership that is still in business; the dealership name is stamped on the rear bumper, really cool. It was purchased in 1966 by Jasper Ladner dba Jasper Ladner Groceries. The truck was used to pick up groceries in New Orleans, LA to stock his rural store. It was also used to deliver sugar to the illegal stills in Hancock County, MS. The nephew started using the truck in the early 70's during his high school years. The truck was stored in a garage until a few years ago. It was in the middle of a pasture field when I stumbled on it. It is all original, runs great. It has rust holes in the usual places; I have to fix the rust. I hope to blend in the paint on the repaired rust so I can save the original paint, any ideas how to doe this would be helpful. Again, this forum is great! Lad in MS

Welcome to the board. Truck looks great. Hope to catch it around the coast sometime. You plan on going to Cruising the Coast with it?
