Grand Rapids Metro Cruise

Anybody going to the Metro Cruise this weekend? Their website says they expect 250,000 attendees and 15,000 vehicles. Yeah I had to recheck those numbers too. With that many vehicles there has to be some 67-72 trucks. I plan to go Friday night with the '70 C10 that's for sale.

What will you be driving? I'll have my red '70, shouldn't be hard to spot each other with only 14,998 other vehicles there.

Not going to have my truck with me but I'll be out there all weekend hoping to spot a few!

I didn't have a truck, but I did walk around a bit. i was kind of bummed I they didn't have a swap meet area.

I was parked at Rogers Plaza Friday from about 3:30 to 8:15. I saw quite a few trucks too both in the lot and going past in 28th St. Friends joined me with their Roush Mustang for a couple hours. I had for sale signs on my red '70. It got a lot of attention and great comments. There were some tire kickers but no one too seriously interested in it. I gave out about 10 information sheets but haven't gotten any calls. It was a good time and I'll plan to spend more time there next year.

I was out there all evening Friday and most of the day Saturday. The rain Saturday morning seemed to cause the rest of the day to be a bit slower than normal but I still had a great time. I saw quite a few nice trucks out there this year including your truck Ed F, would have loved to stop and chat but it didn't seem like you were around when I was taking a look.
