Cheyenne super emblems on doors' interior? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Saw what appeared to be an original 1972 Cheyenne Super today, but it had Cheyenne Super emblems on the door interior. They were the same emblems as the glovebox door. Is this original? I've never seen that before.

Who knows. The emblems looked like originals (the woodgrain background part of the emblems looked like wood instead of black/red camo repop junk). It was a nice truck.

People can get stupid at barrett jackson sometimes. we are working on a 67 camaro at the shop i work at that was purchased at BJ for 50 grand. on a good day it MIGHT bring 20K, it was pieced together to flip it, has rust bubbles in both quarter panels, bad rear diff which was incorrect anyway, worn out suspension etc. we are 4 linking the rear, 4 wheel disc brakes, coilovers all around, new custom exhaust and repairing some wiring issues. when we are done with our part it goes to the body shop and then gets new interior. by the time he is finished he will be well over 100K.
buyer beware !!!!!!!!!

I'm confused, which is it; all original or restored? Either way I feel really good about my trucks values after seeing this purchase price. Not bashing just observing.

"The paint is all original with some professional paint touch-up work done. The truck has had a complete ground-up restoration within the last 125 miles. Both the motor and transmission were rebuilt at this time. Everything has been rebuilt new on this truck. The new tires and Rally wheels and the mild 2" drop in the front and rear really sets this truck off. The underneath of this truck is as nice as the top side. This is one nice survivor for being all original."

Can you call a truck a survivor and all original and then still say it has had a ground up restoration with everything rebuilt and no original wheels?
