Some pics of my truck

Was bored this morning and went and took a few pics of my truck at the old Joliet Il. Prison. I'm far from a photographer but I thought they were pretty cool. Lol

Good looking truck. Cool background too. That mural is cool beans as my buddy would say. I think that's a good thing.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The old prison is a cool building and it's where they filmed the prison scene for the Blues Brothers movie.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it.

Re: Some pics of my truck

Joliet Prison! My great uncle was in there for bank robbery and wounding an officer in a shootout, life sentence but he busted out. Being 1941 he figured they'd never catch him if he was in the army so he falsified a document and joined the marines. He said that the "line for the army was too long and there was a wanted poster on that wall."

He fought with distinction in the Pacific and stayed in till he retired a master sergeant. He died a few years ago and that's the only reason I'm posting about it. If he had a large sum hidden anywhere he never told me about it.

Just joshing you guys! Little Sunday fantasy there.

That is an impressive structure! Like an American castle. You took a great pic there with your truck and your truck is impressive also.

I told you! My (imaginary) great uncle is now dead, so it's OK to tell the story.

I honestly am not sure why I made up such a story, I've never made up a story and posted it online before. Sunday fantasy, like I typed.

Great pictures! I'd say you did pretty good despite being an "amateur" photographer! The first one is probably my favorite. If you get a chance to go back, figure out when this side of the wall is in the sun. It'll put light on the whole truck and make for an even better picture!

Oh - and nice truck by the way! The best pictures have great subjects.
