Hardtop or Softopper?

I bought a Black Softopper and put in on last winter I drove it once or twice a week until spring. I never utilized in during the summer as I thought I would and am thinking of just going back to a hardtop as I only put in on and take it off once a year. What do you all prefer if you could choose. I may be willing to trade if someone has a good hardtop that would prefer a soft.

Re: Hardtop or Softopper?

I run my soft top and haven't had my hardtop on in years. Of course, it is only a sunny day driver now so I actually haven't even had the soft top up in a couple of summers.

Re: Hardtop or Softopper?

I would run my soft top all the time if I could. However, I need to be able to secure my Blazer (lock it up) when not parked in my garage at home. Its a daily driver, so I'm stuck with the hard top most of the time.

Re: Hardtop or Softopper?

I only have the softtopper, and I live in Canada.I keep the sides rolled up all summer. The only problem I could see with the softopper in the warmer States where the AC is basically useless. It's like trying to cool a tent with an undersized air conditioner.

Hard Top all the way, Not really a fan of the 67-72 Soft tops. Like the halfcab square bodies soft top better. And sad thing is Kayline closed its doors best soft top Imho.

Re: Hardtop or Softopper?

I have a bestop, made in 1992 and was still new in the box when I found it on craigslist a couple years ago, for $200.

I love the soft top, will never run the hardtop again....sold it soon after, lol.

Hard top came off and never put back on. Only soft top or no top.
