WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
I'm looking for the Parking Brake spring that connects between the end of the front cable adjustment rod and the body cross-member. Mine is from a '72 4x4 Blazer but I'm pretty sure it is the same on a K10. Link below to my WTB thread with pictures in the Blazer section.

Our local Ace Hardware has an extension spring selection and they carry a spring that is pretty close to what you need.

Re: WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
Thanks Jim, I may end up having to go that route. Right now I don't have anything to go off of so I'd like to find one from a part out or even if in rough shape I can use it as a guide for a close hardware replacement.

Re: WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
John. I really appreciate your effort on this but the one off my Blazer is only about 7" overall length so that one won't work.
Again thanks for trying.

Re: WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
We have several 4x4's and one Blazer and the springs are the same approximate length as the 7" length you mentioned. I will check with my local hardware to see if they have one that will work for you.

Re: WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
Around me I haven't had any luck. I found one close at 6.5 but the gauge of wire was much thicker and much higher pull force.
If you see something I'd be interested in knowing. Thanks. I did find one online but minimum order was 100 pieces!!

Re: WTB: Parking Brake Cable Spring ('72 4x4)
I measured the one stock extension spring that is on one of my trucks and the approximate measurements are as follows:
Length 7" Diameter 1/2" Wire diameter .o67 Ends 1 1/2", (both) Wound coil length, 5" I have not been able to check out the springs at the hardware but will so soon as I found that I need one, also! Jim
