best raidiator gasket material

I am looking to put a gasket in between my radiator and my fan shroud. In order to funnel the air better and keep things from maybe rattling around. They sell a general purpose sticky back gasket material at the auto parts store that is not really meant for radiators and I am worried will not hold up to the temperatures. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: best raidiator gasket material

I know not everyone has an old rear window gasket laying around but it's what I used. The glass channel fits the shroud like a glove.
