Mistakes may have been made

Some of you may have seen pictures of my '75 hv70 that came along with another purchase. It was included as a "parts" truck. It runs but needs a lot of help. I got the bright idea that I would put it to work hauling some logs off of a lease for a sawmill me and some buddies own.
Turns out having a truck that you can run and listen to and tinker with is a far site cheaper and easier than putting one back to work in a reasonable amount of time.
Trying to replace all the wheels and tires with decent used 22.5" is the first order of bussiness and expense....then brakes steering and tilt bed all will be addressed... ..$$$ are adding up quick.

It's hard not to keep one going. It should pay off in the long run though. They are work horses.

Re: Mistakes may have been made

I know your pain. I just hate to see them left to rot and end up ground up and shipped to China as scrap. Thanks for not letting it die.

I need to start getting them before they have rotted quite so long.....most of mine are going to be on a long road to recovery.
