80s bumper on a 70s?
I know there was probably already a post about this but do you guys have any pics of 70-c10s with 80-c10 front bumpers? I wanted to know how it would look on my 77-c10 and I cant seem to find any pics,

Well-I Have other reasons to mod mine-I got my 86 Cab bolted on a late 70's SB frame....so the frame needs modded for the 81-up bumper. However, after seeing that link I may have to re-think how I want to do it. I think I still need to cut the frame to mount the 81-up bumper since I'm also using 81-up bumper guards but not sure yet.

I have an 86 cab on a 78 frame and I bolted my bumper directly to the frame by cutting the brackets exactly as shown in the picture. I believe I did have to drill an extra hole in on the frame that was present on the 86 but not the 78, but other than those two mods it was a bolt on deal - absolutely zero cutting on my frame.
