Color for stock hubcaps
I am starting to clean, polish and paint my stock 86 hubcaps.
Question, is the black a flat, satin or gloss? Second question, any suggestions on a good color paint for the bowtie? Thanks in advance |

Re: Color for stock hubcaps
The bowtie would be Ochre (PPG 2323). Not sure about the black, looks satin to me.

Re: Color for stock hubcaps
Black is definitely not gloss.
I've never been able to distinguish between satin and flat. K

Re: Color for stock hubcaps
rather than mix your paint - can rattle can the small bowtie on the caps - tip per Solver http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=124767
I bought some of this and it is a very good match for the hubcaps (and all 73+ ochre trim pieces - Silverado emblems, etc etc). |
