Re: NOS ammeter

Harry, I am pretty sure that your pictured NOS gauge is for the earlier body style trucks, the one for 67-72 C/K has the printed hash marks between the letters D & C. Mel

Yes, this isn't a 67-72 ammeter for a C10.

Re: NOS ammeter

Would you take $25.00 shipped for the 60-63 NOS amp gauge? In the first photo

If so, I will take it.

Thank you,
Tom

leddzepp, I was reading over the codes updated 2006 and I noticed that the buyer can take up to two weeks to make the payment on parts . is that before almost everybody started using instant paypal? it only takes me a couple days and I'm wondering if the buyer is really going to pay. also when I say I will take it and the seller pm's his info I click on make a payment, done! any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Just my thoughts but as a buyer, I might say "I'll take it" if it is the same price as the first gauge mentioned. Or "I'll take it" if you accept my offer of ...

Then it is in the sellers court to accept you question and answer you before moving to the next in line. This has been a grey area in my opinion for years and I have been in the middle of the pickle a few times.

As a seller, If I get "I'll take it, I give the buyer 24 hours to make a payment or arrange a payment before moving to the next in line.

I think it is important to make you questions and intentions clear right away so there is no confusion.

Take care,
Tom

That was before most started using Paypal, yes. They are guidelines/suggestions, not steadfast rules. There are still people that do not accept Paypal. In my experience a buyer using Paypal equates the shipment of the part with the pressing of the "pay now" button.

Re: NOS ammeter

Trying to stay within the forum rules here...I think an... I will take it is a firm commitment to buy upon the sellers terms and is in front of questions to the seller about price condition or shipping terms. As soon as I get a response I will pay with payal since that is stated in the sale as a method accepted.

Re: NOS ammeter

My fault for the confusing pictures. Blue had a legitimate question, but per rules should have mentioned "I'll take it"" if.. So it's Randy's per rules, and yes, I think I should have listed the item better.
