Should I lube new window regulator?

Bought a new driver AC Delco window regulator with motor. My question is, should I lube the brand new regulator? Its hard to tell if there is any lube actually on there. It feels a bit greasy, but maybe that is just a very thin layer.

Should I use some of that white lithium grease on it before installing it?

I did, I hosed the rollers and scissor-joints with white lithium grease.

Re: Should I lube new window regulator?

Can you tell me the AC Delco part number on that regulator with motor? I need to replace the passenger side (right) regulator and motor on my 83, but I see conflicting application years for the same part number from different vendors.

My truck is 87 so I'm not sure you need the same part. Maybe, but maybe not. I just went to rockauto and got the one for my truck, yours should be there. It does list the part number as well.
