Trans line to factory cooler direction

Which line is which, in and out, upper and lower on the radiator? I want to run an auxiliary cooler from the outlet of the radiator. I have a factory replacement radiator that cracked so I am changing it and adding the additional cooler while I there. Thanks.

Re: Trans line to factory cooler direction

So the upper line and fitting on the radiator is out and the bottom is the feed?

Re: Trans line to factory cooler direction

You didn't say which transmission - it varies by model. You sig says TH400 so I guess that's a safe assumption, but just know they're not all the same - TH400 and 2004R are reversed, for example.

Yes, it's a turbo 400.

The lower fitting should be the coldest (outlet)
