Lightbulb rear mount tank without cutting bed rails

hello all, ive been googling for about an hour so now its time to post.\
what are my options for a rear mount fuel tank with a side fill, that doesnt require cutting the bed rails? i just fixed all of mine so i need to prevent cutting them up as much as possible! i saw the blazer kit many times in my searches, but no info on how much the rails have to be cut and where. i can always relocate the fill neck if thats the only thing interfering.

thanks!!

51-53 chevy sedan tank, from tanks inc. It is 16 gal. and fits in the frame behind rearend. It also does not hang low like the camaro or blazer.

Any photos? I don't want license plate fill. What about those boyd tanks? They look like a viable option!

I can't post them from my phone to here, but I can send them to your phone if you want. I don't have a smart phone.
Just pm your # to me.

Thanks, I think I'm leaning towards a boyd tank though from my continued research!

Re: rear mount tank without cutting bed rails

My dad has a 35+/- ish gallon late 80s suburban tank in his k/20 no mods to the bed floor at all. He put the side fill thru the bed side with the suburban gas door.

Re: rear mount tank without cutting bed rails

I did mine without cutting the rails.I just Cut hole in bottom and made a box with a polished aluminum access cover and boat filler cap. Finished pics in my build thread.

No unfortunately they aren't. I'll see if I can get some pictures from my old man.
